He explained the mortgage options for my circumstances, pointing out the pros and cons of each and also including an option I’d never considered. The option I chose was an unexpected financial win for me, and he quickly obtained pre-approval before I started looking at houses. His company has a great system and website for making the application process, document uploading, and then the closing process clear, easy, and not overwhelming. If a mortgage broker helped you get a loan in a short time, with a low rate and saved you tons of money, that's just very BASIC at Eric Dunlap's place... What he did to our loan was found a solution after our original loan processing was denied two weeks they took our application... my real estate broker introduced me to Eric(P.S the broker, she is also a super start). within few hours, Eric found a path, we were able to keep the ball rolling and brought the house on time, actually we were pushing buyer to finish their agreed items. I can't imagine without Eric's help, we will miss our be loved property, our years of searching need restart. If you need a loan and have some questions, try Eric, if not, the loss is yours. There are SO many good things about having Eric arranging your loan. He is extremely knowledgeable, yet explains things in a way that make them easy to understand. He always makes himself available, returns calls and texts fast, even after hours and at the weekends. He gets you an excellent rate. My wife and I highly recommend Eric at the Portland Loan Team. We initially contacted Eric during Spring 2022 for a consultation as we searched for a new home. We paused our search due to the wild bidding wars and he was very understanding with zero pressure or pushing exotic financing options.Fast forward to late summer 2022 and we went under contact for a house with quick close (<30 days). Eric was invaluable in ensuring a successful and on-schedule purchase/close. In a fast moving close window with volatile rates, Eric was able to obtain an interest rate MUCH LOWER than other local and national lenders. Closing costs with Eric were also MUCH LOWER than other local and national lenders. Lastly, Eric's communication throughout the close process was indispensable. He's always willing and ready to help find the right product, terms, and rate for our projects and is constantly available for our questions and comments. During our most recent refinance, Rodrigo was even more impressive in his willingness to change course several times on our project and find us a solution that works really well for us. Rodrigo Hulse at peak mortgage has been the absolute best to work with. He has helped us over the years with a refinance and most recently with a new mortgage. Not only is Rodrigo and his team very responsive he is low pressure. Rodrigo has very wise advice regarding what makes sense financially for his clients. he will present any and all options you are interested in, then guides you in a safe direction. Ultimately he educates his clients in language that is understandable, making the process absolutely effortless. As an aside I recently called him up looking for financial advice regarding a product he was not able to offer and he called me back to walk thru the options and the process and helped me come to better understanding of what I was looking at. Rodrigo was extremely helpful when I got my first mortgage. Unlike the other finance people I attempted to work with, Rodrigo provided me with an app for my phone that would generate appropriate approvals in real time based on information I input. That really reduced the stress and anxiety, because I had a resource at my fingertips to help determine what would work and what wouldn't.Rodrigo also made sure I got the best rates possible and that everything went smoothly. I had a lot of questions and was not familiar with all the terms, and he was consistently patient and provided excellent explanations.Finally, after everything was done and I'd been in my house for some time, Rodrigo reached out to me when it was favorable to refinance in my situation.I can very definitely provide Rodrigo with 5 stars, and would give more if it was possible!

I just got my fourth mortgage and I can say that it was easier and more efficient to work with Rodrigo than anyone else I have worked with. We were trying to get into a school district in the heart of Portland in the middle of the housing boom, and it was tough. It seemed like we could hardly afford a cardboard box under a bridge in this area. But if we failed, my kid couldn't go to the immersion kindergarten he had gotten into via lottery. The stakes were high! Rodrigo had the tools we needed to figure things out though. We found a diamond in the rough, and are so happy now. I really don't think things would have worked out so well for us without Rodrigo.
